The Organizing & Scientific Committee invites authors to submit abstracts of original research in areas related to the field of mammalian influenza viruses from non-human/non-avian sources for presentation.
Abstract submission deadline extended to 31 January 2020
STRUCTURE
The title must be brief and concise.
The abstract body has a maximum of 2000 characters only (includes spaces - does not include sub-headings).
Please do not include references in the abstract.
For each co-author, the organization and country should be listed.
The presenting author should be identified as the Primary Contact.
SUBJECT AREA SUBMISSION
Abstracts can be submitted into one of four Subject Areas:
- Clinical and Experimental Virology
- Emerging Issues and New Developments
- Surveillance and Disease Investigation
- Virus Transmission and Control
SUBMISSION TYPES
Abstracts can be submitted for consideration for oral presentation and/or poster presentation.
Those abstracts chosen for oral presentation will be required to present for 12 minutes followed by 3 minutes for questions.
For poster presentations, there will be a dedicated area for posters and a dedicated poster session for authors to present their work.
JUNIOR INVESTIGATOR AWARDS
Junior Investigator Awards will be presented at the meeting to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows based on the presentation of their work, either in oral or poster form. Please indicate if the presenting author of this abstract is a Junior Investigator.
GENERAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Abstracts must be submitted via the conference website.
Abstracts must be written in English only.
Abstracts must be submitted before 31 January 2020 to be considered.
Abstracts will be reviewed solely on the basis of the data submitted in the abstract.
PUBLICATION
Upon acceptance of the abstract, the presenting author must register for the conference to present at the oral session or poster presentation.
Following registration, it is presumed that permission is granted for publication of the accepted abstract on the conference website.
Abstracts will be published as submitted.
